A leading Gubernatorial Aspirant in the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Omo-Oba Dotun Babayemi, has congratulated the Ataoja of Osogbo Land, HRM Ọba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, Laroye II, on the anniversary of his 15th year on the throne.
Speaking via his social media handles, Babayemi described the Ataoja’s ascension to the throne as “nothing short of a blessing, not only to the ancient city of Osogbo but also to Osun State and Yoruba land at large. Over the past fifteen years, your reign has radiated peace, nurtured unity, safeguarded traditions, and inspired development. Your wisdom and fatherly guidance have made Osogbo a citadel of culture, harmony, and progress.”
The statement further read, “Kabiyesi, as custodian of the heritage of our forebears, you have carried the crown with dignity and grace, proving yourself a worthy descendant of a noble lineage. Your leadership’s footprints are enshrined in your people’s lives, and the light of your reign continues to illuminate the path of generations.”
“As you mark this glorious milestone, I pray that the Almighty continues to strengthen you with divine wisdom, sound health, and enduring prosperity. May your reign be long, peaceful, and prosperous”, he prayed.
The Gbongan Prince called on sons and daughters of Osogbo, as well as all lovers of development in Osun State, to continue to support the Ataoja in his quest to bring lasting development to Osogbo, further cementing the ancient town’s place as an important State Capital in the country.
He also prayed for continued peace in the town, describing Osogbo’s peace and development as strategically important to the overall peace and development of Osun State.
