Tele Oyegoke, a prominent community leader and youth advocate, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to Muslims across the country as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, one of the most significant festivals in the Islamic calendar.
In a statement released on Friday, the young entrepreneur and politician emphasized the importance of the festival in promoting the values of sacrifice, faith, and unity. He urged Muslims to use the occasion as a time for reflection, spiritual renewal, and acts of kindness, especially towards the less privileged in society.
“Eid-el-Kabir is a time to remember the virtues of devotion, obedience, and generosity as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim. It is a season of giving, and I encourage all Muslims to uphold the spirit of compassion and communal harmony that the celebration represents,” Oyegoke said.
He also called on Nigerians of all faiths to continue to pray for peace, progress, and stability in the country, noting that unity and mutual respect remain critical to national development.
“As we mark this sacred occasion, let us not forget the importance of peaceful coexistence. Our diversity should be a strength, not a division. I wish all Muslim faithful a joyous and peaceful Eid celebration,” he added.
Oyegoke concluded by praying for the safe return of all pilgrims performing the Hajj and commended religious leaders for their role in promoting moral values and peaceful dialogue within the society.
