Senator Adeola hails Elegbeji over by-election win

The senator representing Ogun West, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, has congratulated Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for her outstanding victory in the by-election for the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency, held on Saturday.
The senator, in a statement by his media adviser, Kayode Odunaro, on Sunday, observed that the overwhelming victory of Ayoola Elegbeji clearly demonstrated that the constituents in the Remo Federal Constituency endorsed the good work started by the late Adewunmi Onanuga and desired a continuation of her effective representation.

“I congratulate the leader of our party in Ogun State, Governor Dapo Abiodun, and the executives of the party for the clear victory at the by-election with Hon. Ayoola Elegbeji as the winner. The victory is an endorsement of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the good work of Governor Abiodun in piloting the affairs of the state,” Adeola was quoted as saying in the statement.

The senator, who is the chairman of the Ogun State National Assembly Caucus, added that he looked forward to welcoming the newly elected federal lawmaker to the National Assembly, saying that he will ensure that she enjoys maximum cooperation to continue effective representation of the constituency in the NASS.
