A foremost contender for the gubernatorial ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Omooba Dotun Babayemi, has rejoiced with Muslims across Nigeria on the birth of Prophet Muhammad(SAW).
Babayemi enjoined Muslim brothers and sisters in the country to use the occasion for further re-dedication and commitment to the course of the nation.
In a congratulatory message released by his media office, the widely accepted gubernatorial aspirant said it was a thing of joy for everyone to have witnessed this year’s celebration
He charged that regardless of the religious beliefs of the people, they should continue to pray and work for the progress and development of the country.
“Nigeria is our common heritage, which we must always strive to protect. We should always work and pray for the nation to thrive. The accompanying success will be for the good of everyone. Our government should be supported in this regard. he noted
Also, the aspirant implored the populace to always give room for peace to thrive in the society, adding that religious harmony would breed unity among adherents.
Meanwhile, he called on the Muslims to always live by emulating the life which Prophet Muhammad (SAW) lived, describing his exemplary commitment and dedication to a worthy course as inspiring to mankind.
