91st Birthday: Alhaji Oyedokun Will Remain Cherished – Babayemi

A renowned politician and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Omooba Dotun Babayemi, has described Alhaji Shuaib Oyedokun as an elder statesman who would continue to be appreciated and celebrated because of his exemplary life style.

Babayemi emphasized that Alhaji Oyedokun’s journey in life connotes patience, resilience and the appreciation of values, adding that these were worthy of emulation by all, especially the up and coming generation.

The popular APC leader made these known in his congratulatory message to the nonagenarian on his 91st birthday as issued by his media office.

“Baba Shuaib Oyedokun is an enduring lesson and blessing to many of us..By every standard,baba Oyedokun is an exemplar whose footprints are commendably worthy of emulation. He has come a long way and yet, he is still going relevantly strong” he added

According to him, it’s a great and rare privilege to have the Oluomo of Inisa around and at the same time,have the grace of tapping from his wealth of knowledge.

“Without doubt,you are a blessing to all of us in Osun and those who have had cause to meet with you across the globe in one way or the other. We do sincerely thank you for being a true father and friend to us”

Babayemi praised the Inisa-born politician for commendably traversing different phases of life as an administrator, community leader and a politician of note with proven track records of achievements.

While thanking God that even at the age of 91 years Alhaji Oyedokun was enjoying the grace of good health and sound mind, he prayed that God would grant him more healthy years.

“We pray you shall live long in good health and sound mind to God’s glory and the benefit of mankind” he further prayed
