A frontline stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Omooba Dotun Babayemi, has eulogised a National Leader of the Party and former governor of the state, Chief Adebisi Akande, on the occasion of his 87th Birthday.
Babayemi, in a statement made available to the Press, described Akande as “statesman whose exemplary leadership, discipline, and uncommon wisdom have laid a solid foundation for good governance in Osun State and has strengthened the pillar of our great party, the APC”.
Speaking further, Babayemi described Akande’s life as a testament to integrity, courage, and selfless service to humanity through years of unblemished political leadership, and commitment to the ideals of the Yoruba race.
“Your wisdom has helped steer the ship of the Progressive family for many years, culminating in an enduring legacy that has not only helped develop our society, but has also raised men and women of substance in politics and governance”, he said.
“On this 87th birthday, I join all of your children, political and biological, and well-wishers all around the globe, to celebrate you, and pray that God grants you long life in service to our state, country, and our political tendency, the All Progressives Congress (APC)”, the statement concluded.
