Babayemi Hails APC Convention; Congratulates Yilwatda, Bashiru

A popular chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Omooba Dotun Babayemi, has hailed the successful conduct of the 4th elective national convention of the party,

Besides, Babayemi felicitates with the party’s National Chairman, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, the National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Bashiru and other members of the National Working Committee for the nod given to them to continue to steer the ship of party for the next four years.

The Gbongan-born Prince who made these known in a release by his media office, noted that the successful outcome of the convention of the party would help to reposition it for greater exploits, especially the coming elections and in the areas of deepening the country’s democracy.

“The conduct of the national convention of our great party, the APC, and its successful outcome, will go a long way in entrenching  the popularity of the party in the country. We must all cash in on this in order to ensure our victory in all elections” he enjoined.”

Babayemi while calling for more support base for the APC across the country, implored the party leadership at all levels,to evolve mechanisms that would help propel it.

The party stalwart urged Nigerians, especially those in other political parties not to always politicise every issue, noting that the betterment of the nation and its people should be paramount to everyone.

“We should play politics with moderation so as not to continue to heat up the polity. Let’s learn to support the government when we should, and criticize constructively, when we should. This will be for the good of our dear country and the people in general” he added.
