Davido Speaks After Viral Video Shows Him Being Hit in Delta

Nigerian Afrobeat star Davido has finally reacted after a video showing someone hitting him on the head in Warri, Delta State, went viral and caused concern among fans.

The incident happened after his performance at a wedding in Warri. After the show, Davido reportedly stopped by at a popular nightclub in the city.

In the video, the singer was seen leaving the nightclub when a man in the crowd suddenly slapped him on the head. Many fans believed it was an attack, and the video quickly sparked reactions online.

However, Davido has now cleared the air. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he explained that it wasn’t an attack.

“That was my security. Hit me by mistake,” Davido wrote.

He said his security guard accidentally hit him while trying to protect him from an overexcited fan.

Davido also assured fans that he is fine and there is no cause for alarm.
