Manchester City have reduced the gap on Arsenal to two points after a thrilling 5-4 victory over Fulham on Tuesday night.
The former Premier League champions were coming off another narrow 3-2 win over Leeds United.
That win reduced the Gunners’ advantage, after they could only draw 1-1 with Chelsea on Sunday.
City raced into a three-goal lead against Fulham, thanks to goals from Erling Haaland, Tijjani Reijnders and Phil Foden.
But Emile Smith Rowe pulled one back for the hosts before the break.
Foden extended City’s lead, before a Samuel Chukwueze brace and an Alex Iwobi goal saw Fulham threaten to grab a point.
Arsenal will be hoping to restore their five-point advantage when they host Brentford on Wednesday night.
